Coachella Style

Ok babes its that time of year again! Coachella weekend 1 starts tomorrow and weekend 2 next week!   Crazy right, wish I was going but work comes first (insert sigh here) Anywho while I was in NYC I came across this store called Necessary Clothing. I've never heard of it but some of you may have. It seems pretty similar to F21 but reminded me a little bit of pieces you would find on Nasty Gal or Revolve Clothing, and the quality wasn't too crappy either! Even if your not buying anything new, I love how they styled these pieces, perfect for festival season!

Here's some of my fave pieces from them! The top section obvs being more ethereal and boho, while the bottom section is more rocker-chic! I've purchased a few of these items myself and must say the quality isn't too bad! I'll be posting pics soon of what I got!!

And if your not looking to dress for Coachella, these are affordable on trend pieces that you don't have to break the bank for, especially since summer's almost here!

7 Outfits for New York!

This Friday night I leave for New York on a redeye for the FIRST TIME! I know, I can't believe it myself! I've been to 13 countries but never once have I even made a stopover in NYC! Since this trip is long over due, I have been coming up with outfit ideas in my head long before I actually booked my flight 3 months ago!

With a few faux furs and leather jacket in tow, I figure I should survive right? I mean after all, it is officially Spring, so with high's of 40's and low's of 30's, shouldn't be too bad!

Now for my style ideas....

What to wear in Seattle?

Tomorrow I will be venturing up to Seattle for a Model United Nations Conference. Typically I'm excited to dress up in business attire, however this year it's going to be about 40* during the DAYTIME in Seattle. Being a true Southern Californian at heart, I cringe at the thought of anything below 60* (I know, I'm a wimp). Although we'll be inside, and there's nothing like flipping through cute winter dress ideas from a J.Crew magazine or browsing new winter styles, I just can't wrap my head around dressing up in cold weather. Here's some inspiration for my trip & potential outfit ideas so hopefully I'll learn to love the cold

LOVING these pants paired with this toggle coat from J.Crew

A pop of color is always great in cold (dreary?) weather, like this Sophie Hulme one

Adding a bit of flare to your basic black pants and white button down with this Chloe Cape

Clearly I'm into classics like this hounstooth coat from Zara

Another easy look that's cold weather friendly

Do you guys have any tips for us wimps when it comes to lowering temps?
